About Ryan Thomas

Before becoming founder and Artistic Director of Ryan Thomas Hair Studio, Ryan Thomas enjoyed a 12 year career in the beauty industry. Graduating at the top of his class from Graham Webb Academy in Arlington, Virginia, Ryan became a hairstylist for Roche Salon in Georgetown, Washington DC. Vogue considers Roche Salon to be one of the hottest salons in DC.

After honing his skills in DC, Ryan brought his talents to Manhattan where he worked on 5 th Ave for Garren New York, which is set within the Henry Bendel department store. While at Garren, Ryan was able to further his skills, working alongside some of the industry’s best hair stylists. In addition, Ryan worked backstage during New York Fashion Week, providing styling for top models at the Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui fashion shows.

After experiencing the fashion world of styling, and the cutting edge trends of New York City, Ryan moved to San Diego where he worked in salons in Del Mar and La Jolla. Ryan quickly established himself as a top stylist in the area, building a loyal clientele.

Ryan has worked tirelessly to combine the best strategies, skills and style of the fashion world and high-end salons, blending them all under one roof at Ryan Thomas Hair Studio.
